Beverly Roots

Beverly started college at the age of 40 with her oldest daughter and continued to get her Master’s degree in Social Work. She previously worked with the older population and has volunteered her time with organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Family Promise, Bowling for Kid’s Sake, and is involved every year at the Silver Lake Mall with the AARP Tax Aide. Beverly lives with her significant other of 38 years, Lee, and her dog, Lexi. She is a mother of 3, grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 2. She is known in the community for her Baklava, which she donates to non- profit charities for fundraisers.
