Jai Nelson, R.N.

Jai Nelson, R.N., was appointed to the Board of Health in 2011. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from North Idaho College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from the U of I. Ms. Nelson has worked in the Advanced Cardiac Care Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane since 2005. She also has worked as an Interior Design Consultant in her own business since 1994. Ms. Nelson serves on the boards of the Lutheran Academy of the Master and Region 1 Adult and Children’s Mental Health, and on the Region 1 Advisory Committee on Substance Abuse. She has served on the Kootenai County Board of County Commissioners and Kootenai County Emergency Medical Services System (KCEMSS).
