Dr. McLandress was appointed to the Board of Health in 1985 and serves as the Board’s physician representative. He is a Board-certified Family Physician and has been a partner at Family Medicine, Coeur d’Alene, since it opened in 1977. Dr. McLandress is the Director for the Family Medicine Coeur d’Alene Residency Program. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington. Dr. McLandress earned his M.D., Family Medicine residency and an advanced certificate in Health Care Ethics from the University of Washington. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Kootenai Health Clinical Ethics and is a Clinical Associate Professor at University of Washington, School of Medicine.
